NEW SEASON BECKONS:
Members are eagerly looking forward to a new competitive season, with membership renewal from 1 September. A gleaming new Centre Court floor has been installed during the close season, complementing the other two courts.  Following success in the Munster League last season, higher challenges await this term with all players moving up a level. A Division 2 team is expected to field after Christmas with such as Fergie O’Loughlin & Cathal Lynch on board, while the reigning Division 4 champions will soon be in action in Division 3 of the Munster League. Lissycasey’s Martin Daly has the onerous task of leading the line, complemented by the experience of David Forde, Paddy Vaughan and Óisin Casey. The ‘first five’ is completed by Mike Brophy, whose defensive resilience impressed many last year. In a squad of ten, Clarecastle’s Conor Plunkett is a new and very welcome addition at number six.

CONLON AT WORLD MASTERS:
Michael Conlon had an interesting outing in the recent World Mastes' Championships in Virginia, U.S.A. and you can read about it here in the latest news.

DRAMA ON COURT!
There was drama of a different kind at the club recently when the club hosts SPLICED.
